Overview

• Unlike many comparable products, Hematoxylin 2 does not contain mercuric oxide and will not form a metallic sheen over its surface each day
• Differentiation is not necessary, however, Clarifier 2 should be used to eliminate any background staining caused by the use of excessive water bath adhesive
• Recommended for frozen sections
• Requires no filtration prior to use
• Will not form crystals upon standing or exposure to cold weather
