Jenner Stain is used for staining of peripheral blood smears.
Overview
- One of the oldest stain formulations still in use today
- Provides results similar to that of Giemsa stain
- Eosinophilic granules tend to appear brighter red, basophilic granules and nuclear chromatin stain a dense blue
