Signature Series Clarifier
Signature Series Clarifier 1 and 2 are unique acetic acid formulations designed to remove background stain caused by excessive use of tissue adhesive and to increase cell transparency.
Overview
- Both Clarifier 1 and 2 selectively remove hematoxylin staining from excess adhesive without affecting nuclear staining
- Use of Clarifier 1 or 2 improves contrast between nuclei and cytoplasm
- Clarifier 1 should be used with Signature Series Hematoxylin 1 (7221) and Clarifier 2 should be used with Signature Series Hematoxylin 2 (7231) to eliminate any background staining caused by use of excessive water bath adhesive.
