Prefilled Containers in Bulk
- Prefilled containers use a Bio-Tite closure system and are packaged in a cardboard box
- Containers are made from polystyrene plastic that is completely translucent
- Prefilled containers are non-sterile and 2/3 filled with 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin (NBF)
- All prefilled containers are labeled with highly visible, bright yellow labels to support identification to help minimize health risks
- The label provides a space for patient information to help ensure chain of custody
- Each prefilled container is marked with a lot number and expiration date
