- Eosin-Y with Phloxine yields a brighter reddish hue and a more dramatic differentiation of cytoplasmic color than Eosin-Y Alcoholic
- Eosin-Y Saturated is very intense and rapid counterstain that can be used to make working solutions of Eosin-Y
