Xylene

• Strict quality assurance, including gas chromatography, is performed on each lot to guarantee a consistent product
• Offers superior lipid extraction, optimal paraffin infiltration and excellent deparaffinization and clearing during staining
• Contains the lowest level of benzene, a known carcinogen

Xylene Substitute

• Xylene Substitute is a safer, more convenient alternative to xylene for processing, staining and coverslipping
• Airborne exposure limit three times safer than xylene (TLV 300ppm)
• Virtually odorless aliphatic hydrocarbon – no citrus aroma
• Not sensitizing to normal skin
• Evaporation rate similar to xylene – slides dry quickly
• Grease-less
• Can be recycled with solvent recyclers

Signature Series™ Clear-Rite 3™

is a unique blend of isoparaffinic aliphatic hydrocarbons for tissue processing and staining

• Excellent lipid extraction during tissue processing
• Renders deparaffinization and clearing during the staining process
• Does not produce hard or brittle specimens, even after prolonged exposure
• Use in all tissue processors and automatic stainers
• Benzene-free
• Very low odor

Toluene

• Packaged in high-density polyethylene
• Easy-to-pour container can reduce spills when pouring

Syntri Safe Reagents

Syntri Safeguard™ RFID technology partnered with Epredia Revos™ ensures that the correct reagent is exchanged and creates an exchange log to track every bottle loaded, protocol executed, a record of the lot number, and expiration date.
